There is still a place for staged urethroplasty. There are some indications for staged urethral reconstruction such as strictures associated with chronic inflammation, fistula, false passage, urethral stones, urethral diverticula, abscess, failed prior repair, complicated hypospadias, severe trauma, neurologic diseases, extensive BXO strictures and long strictures. Staging a urethroplasty should not be considered a step backwards rather instead we should learn from experience and realize there are some patients who are too complex to reconstruct in a single stage.

Objectives: To evaluate the feasibility and surgical outcomes of simultaneous urethral reconstruction for synchronous urethral strictures (SUS) and analyze the surgical techniques employed for different stricture combinations.
Methods: Twenty-two male patients with SUS who underwent urethral reconstruction between February 2018 and July 2023 were retrospectively reviewed. Stricture locations and lengths were evaluated using cystoscopy and urethrography after urethral rest for at least 3 months.

Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of staged urethroplasty for complex anterior urethral strictures from both surgical and patient-reported outcome perspectives.
Methods: This retrospective study included 100 patients who underwent staged urethroplasty for anterior urethral strictures between May 2011 and June 2023. Anatomical success was defined as the ability to pass cystourethroscopy without resistance and the patient's ability to void without additional interventions.

Introduction: Graft fibrosis following the first stage of a free graft staged hypospadias repair is a difficult scenario where the management has traditionally been to excise the graft and replace it with a new graft. However, still the risk of recurrent fibrosis remains making it difficult to proceed to the second stage and tubularising a fibrosed graft practically ensures a breakdown. Herein, we present our way of using parameatal based flip flap urethroplasty as a salvage procedure in this situation.
