Hydroxychloroquine is widely employed for the treatment of rheumatological diseases. A preliminary pilot study suggested that hydroxychloroquine may be a useful adjunct for the treatment of schizophrenia, which has been associated with abnormalities in several proinflammatory cytokines. Sixty-one patients were randomized to receive 200 mg/ day hydroxychloroquine or placebo in addition to standard typical antipsychotic treatment. After 8 weeks of double-blind treatment, there was no significant interaction between treatment status and length of treatment for positive, negative, or general symptoms according to the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale, despite a hydroxychloroquine-associated decrease in serum interferon-gamma levels. After completion of the 8-week study, all participants were offered open treatment with hydroxychloroquine for an additional 12 weeks. Open treatment produced no further improvement in Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale scores at weeks 12, 16, and 20. Further study will be required to determine the role of anti-inflammatory treatments for schizophrenia.

Although men and women generally receive positive and negative reactions to childhood sexual abuse (CSA) disclosure (Filipas & Ullman, 2001), negative reactions are more common (Gagnier & Collin-Vézina, 2016). Negative disclosure reactions - such as disbelieving, retaliating against, or distracting the survivor - are both prevalent and associated with poorer post-abuse recovery and well-being (Kennedy & Prock, 2018; Ullman, 2010). For male survivors in particular, the responses one receives from others following disclosure may complicate one's sense of masculinity.

Objective: Triple negative breast carcinoma (TNBC) is characterized by the absence of estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 receptor expression. Carbonic anhydrase IX (CA IX) is a tumor-associated cell surface glycoprotein that is involved in adaptation to hypoxia-induced acidosis and plays a role in cancer progression. The aim of this study was to investigate CA IX expression in TNBC and its relationship with treatment effect.

Objective: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) has been the primary treatment method for patients with local advanced breast cancer. A pathological complete response (pCR) to therapy correlates with better overall disease prognosis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) have been widely used to monitor the response to NACT in breast cancer.

Objective: To investigate integrating an artificial intelligence (AI) system into diagnostic breast ultrasound (US) for improved performance.
Materials And Methods: Seventy suspicious breast mass lesions (53 malignant and 17 benign) from seventy women who underwent diagnostic breast US complemented with shear wave elastography, US-guided core needle biopsy and verified histopathology were enrolled. Two radiologists, one with 15 years of experience and the other with one year of experience, evaluated the images for breast imaging-reporting and data system (BI-RADS) scoring.
