Clinical and morphological features of cancer were observed in two groups of miners (of Krivoy Rog iron-ore and Zholty Vody uranium mines), working in hazardous labour conditions. In both of groups the disease course had typical features for lung cancer. Roentgenologic changes were observed, central cancer of left and right lung was revealed by bronchoscopy method.

Unlabelled: Indium-111-labeled human nonspecific immunoglobin G (111In-IgG) is one of the newer agents suggested for scintigraphic evaluation of infection and inflammation. In this study, the utility of this agent was studied in routine clinical practice.
Methods: A dose of 75 MBq 111In labeled to 2 mg IgG (MacroScint) was administered intravenously in 226 patients with 232 possible foci of infection or inflammation.

25 patients with intervertebral osteochondritis (11-cervical, 5-thoracic, 9-lumbar) at the age of 30-70 years are analysed. Clinical features of osteochondritis locafed in different segments of the spine, are described. The fact that at the early stages of it's development, the disease is "X-ray negative", is stressed.

Background: 13-Cis-retinoic acid has an influence on bone in patients on long-term treatment as well as on short-term treatment. The presence of skeletal abnormalities after the treatment was established by roentgenologic and scintigraphic examinations. We wanted to know whether a 6-month course of low-dose 13-cis-retinoic acid has a clinically important influence on bone density in men with severe acne.

After resection of stomach 92 patients were examined throughout a period from 1 to 10 years. During dynamic scintigraphy of liver characteristic changes were disclosed in biliary secretory system which could have diagnostic significance.
