A correlation between indices of the renal function before and after the operation has been made in patients with ulcerous disease and cancer of the gastrointestinal tract. It is the authors' opinion that a correction of the water-salt metabolism, adequate replacement of blood loss and some other measures prevent considerably the occurrence of renal insufficiency.

Rationale: Thrombus is the most common occupying lesion in the cardiac chambers, it is often distinguished from cardiac neoplastic occupations. Among them, the most common is cardiac myxoma, whose imaging manifestations are often confused with thrombus.
