Objective: Recent treatment guidelines state that in patients with asymptomatic brain metastases (BMs), local treatment can be delayed until there is evidence of intracranial progression. However, while patients with symptomatic BMs typically require dexamethasone treatment, recent data on the impact of this medication on the outcomes of patients with BMs are lacking. Therefore, the authors conducted a prospective study to evaluate concomitant dexamethasone treatment in a population of radiosurgically treated patients with BMs from non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

The resonant conversion of cosmic microwave background (CMB) photons into axions within large-scale structure induces an anisotropic spectral distortion in CMB temperature maps. Applying state-of-the-art foreground cleaning techniques to Planck CMB observations, we construct maps of axion-induced "patchy screening" of the CMB. We cross-correlate these maps with data from the unWISE galaxy survey and find no evidence of axions.

Background: Symptoms of insomnia, nightmares, and trauma are highly prevalent. However, there are significant barriers to accessing evidence-based treatments for these conditions, leading to poor mental health outcomes.
Objective: This pilot trial evaluated the feasibility of a 4-week, digital self-paced intervention combining cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and exposure, relaxation, and rescripting therapy for nightmares in survivors of wildfires from Australia, Canada, and the United States.
Background: Seeking online health information can empower individuals to better understand their health concerns, facilitating their ability to manage their health conditions more effectively. It has the potential to change the likelihood and frequency of health service usage. Although existing literature has demonstrated the prevalence of seeking online health information among different populations, the factors affecting online health information perception and discussions on the associations between seeking online health information and health service utilization are limited.

Background: Corporate wellness programs are increasingly using digital technologies to promote employee health.
