Background: Colorectal cancer most commonly metastasizes to the liver. While various treatment strategies have been developed, surgical management of these patients has vital implications on the prognosis and survival of this group of patients. Background: Thymomas and thymic carcinomas are rare and aggressive thymic tumors that are usually detected in advanced stages. Surgery is the mainstay of treatment; however, the role of surgery in advanced disease is controversial due to factors such as myasthenia gravis; thus, decisions about whether to perform surgical interventions are complex. Further studies need to be conducted to explore the potential benefits of surgery in the treatment of advanced thymic tumors.

Objective: To evaluate the clinical outcomes of surgical and non-surgical treatments for actinic cheilitis (AC) over a four-decade period and to introduce a novel Clinical Index for the Treatment and Control of Actinic Cheilitis (CITC-AC) for improved patient stratification and management.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective cohort study analyzed 151 patients diagnosed with AC treated at a university clinic between 1980 and 2020. Sociodemographic, clinical, and histopathological data were collected.
