Unlabelled: Newborn screening (NBS) represents an important public health measure for the early detection of specified disorders; such screening can prevent disability and death, not only from metabolic disorders but also from endocrine, hematologic, immune, and cardiac disorders. Screening for critical congenital conditions affecting newborns' health is a great challenge, especially in developing countries such as Morocco, where NBS program infrastructure is lacking. In addition, the consanguinity rate is high in Morocco.

Background: High daily doses of pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) were historically associated with risk of fibrosing colonopathy (FC) in people with cystic fibrosis (pwCF), leading to development of PERT dosing guidelines and reformulated products. This study quantified incidence of FC in pwCF treated with PERT following those measures.
Methods: This large prospective cohort study included eligible pwCF enrolled in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Patient Registry with ≥1 clinic visit in 2012-2014 and follow-up through 2020.

Feline breeding colonies are important to the feline industry by preserving traits desirable for a particular breed or in research settings by maintaining medically valuable genetic traits. As breeding females age, their reproductive efficiency declines. The objective of this study was to determine the most common causes of infertility in breeding females that were producing fewer kittens.

Purpose Of Review: The nutritional landscape in cystic fibrosis has shifted dramatically in the era of CFTR modulator therapy. In this review, we will critically examine the literature on overweight and obesity in CF, current nutritional care unknowns and opportunities for further investigation or adaptation in clinical care.
Recent Findings: Results of clinical trial and real-world data reflect marked improvement in nutritional status and quality of life.

To prevent or mitigate chronic illness burden, people with cystic fibrosis (pwCF) and their family caregivers need primary (generalist-level) palliative care from the time of diagnosis forward. We used qualitative methods to explore their preferences about a screening-and-triage model ("") developed to standardize this care. We purposively sampled and interviewed 14 pwCF and caregivers from 5 study sites.
