Arterial variations in the upper limb are of significant clinical importance, especially in procedures such as venepunctures, coronary artery bypass grafts, trauma reconstructive surgeries, brachial plexus nerve blocks, and breast reconstructions. This report presents previously undocumented arterial variations in the upper limbs in a 95-year-old female cadaveric donor. We observed bilateral superficial ulnar arteries originating at the cubital fossa, deviating from the previously reported origin at the proximal brachial artery.

Takayasu arteritis (TA), a rare large-vessel vasculitis, primarily affects women of childbearing age, causing granulomatous inflammation in the aorta and its major branches. This inflammation can lead to stenosis, aneurysms, or occlusion, with the abdominal aorta, subclavian, and brachial arteries commonly involved. We present the case of a 26-year-old female with TA with a rare involvement of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA).

Introduction: The presence of additional cervical ribs is a rare and relatively unknown pathology. The brachial plexus is most often compressed. Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) is the one of discussed of mixed compression syndromes, due to diagnostic difficulties and the lack of evidence to resolve the effectiveness of surgical treatment over conservative treatment.

Introduction: Parsonage-Turner Syndrome (PTS) is a rare idiopathic brachial neuritis that classically presents with sudden onset upper extremity pain followed by upper limb weakness, sensory disruption, and muscle atrophy. We hypothesized that the type of antecedent event before symptom onset would determine the degree of spontaneous recovery after PTS.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed all patients who presented with PTS to a single tertiary referral center from January 2002 to December 2021.
