Objective: Patients with drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE) are often referred for phase II evaluation with stereo-electroencephalography (SEEG) to identify a seizure onset zone for guiding definitive treatment. For patients without a focal seizure onset zone, neuromodulation targeting the thalamic nuclei-specifically the centromedian nucleus, anterior nucleus of the thalamus, and pulvinar nucleus-may be considered. Currently, thalamic nuclei selection is based mainly on the location of seizure onset, without a detailed evaluation of their network involvement.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain condition contributing to significant disability worldwide. Neuroimaging studies identify abnormal effective connectivity between cortical areas responsible for descending pain modulation (pregenual anterior cingulate cortex, pgACC) and sensory components of pain experience (primary somatosensory cortex, S1). Neurofeedback, a brain-computer interface technique, can normalise dysfunctional brain activity, thereby improving pain and function.

Background: Bicycle messengers in the online food delivery sector typically work on an on-demand basis, have digitally mediated relationships with their employer, and have very limited labor rights. In this study, we explore how bicycle messengers themselves experience their workday and how platform work influences their identity and wellbeing.
Method: We conducted qualitative interviews with ten bicycle messengers working for Foodora and Wolt in Bergen and Oslo, Norway.

Silver nanoparticles are recognized for potent antimicrobial properties against pathogenic bacteria, crucial in addressing the severity of leptospirosis, where an ideal treatment is lacking. This study focuses on assessing the antimicrobial efficacy of silver-doped zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO:9Ag) on standard Leptospira spp. strains (six species and ten serovars).

Purpose: To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of targeted drugs in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) with cardiac function grades III-IV, and conduct a meta-analysis.
Methods: Two researchers independently searched the PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library databases for relevant studies, with the search period extending from the establishment of the databases to March 2024. Meta-analysis was performed using statistical software Review Manager 5.
