In the study current opinions of performing laparoscopy in pregnant women suffering from some either acute abdominal diseases or adnexal pathology have been presented. Based on the latest literature, intra- and postoperative complications of laparoscopy have been analyzed by the authors. Both advantages and disadvantages of laparoscopy in pregnancy have been estimated.

Giant ovarian cysts (GOCs) have become less common in developed countries due to routine health screenings, but they remain prevalent in economically underdeveloped regions. Treatment options for GOCs depend on factors such as age, cyst characteristics, and pregnancy status. Minimally invasive single-port laparoscopic surgery has largely replaced traditional open surgery due to its aesthetic advantages and effectiveness.

Background: Chronic endometritis (CE), frequently asymptomatic, is associated with female infertility. Fallopian tube obstruction (FTO) is also one of the factors contributing to female infertility. More than 90% of cases of proximal FTO can be successfully treated after fallopian tubal recanalization (FTR) and the spontaneous pregnancy rate of treated women after FTR is only about 30%.
