The article addresses the problem of a complex rehabilitation of invalids as a system of measures designed to promote adaptation and integration of this category of the population under present-day conditions. Consideration is given to medical-and-social and psychological-and-pedagogical aspects of adaptation and rehabilitation as exemplified by patients with infantile cerebral palsy. Chief causes are identified that make it more difficult for them to be integrated in the socium. Recommendations are given on ways for improvement of adaptation-oriented measures to be instituted in the above patient population.
