415 female residents of the City of Tomsk and Tomsk Region (patients with cervical carcinoma--22, dysplasia stage I-III--23 and healthy subjects--71) were screened for HPV16/18 infection, which was diagnosed in 18.3%. In the cervical carcinoma group, infection was detected in 27.4%, among patients with advanced cervical dysplasia--25.7%, and in those with background pathologies and healthy females--12.3 and 38%, respectively. Infection peaks were reported for the age brackets of 31-40 years (19.7%) and 51-60 years (19.6%). HPV-infection showed a wide range of colposcopic symptoms: areas of atypical blood vessels, leukoplakia, atypical epithelium and iodine-negative patches. Papillomavirus-related morphological changes in endometrial cells were typical of those associated with any viral infection and showed no specific features.

Background: Nonocclusive mesenteric ischemia (NOMI), a subtype of acute mesenteric ischemia, is primarily caused by mesenteric arterial vasoconstriction and decreased vascular resistance, leading to impaired intestinal perfusion.Commonly observed after cardiac surgery, NOMI affects older patients with cardiovascular or systemic diseases, accounting for 20-30% of acute mesenteric ischemia cases with a mortality rate of ∼50%. This review explores NOMI's pathophysiology, clinical implications in aortic dissection, and the unmet needs in diagnosis and management, emphasizing its prognostic significance.

We provide an overview of recent advances in the diagnosis and classification of intestinal T- and NK-cell lymphomas and lymphoproliferative disorders that primarily involve the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It should be mentioned that systemic T- and NK-cell lymphomas can present initially in the GI tract but are not the focus of this review. Here, we focus on the clinical and pathologic findings of enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma, monomorphic epitheliotropic intestinal T-cell lymphoma, intestinal T-cell lymphoma not otherwise specified, indolent T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder of the GI tract and indolent NK-cell lymphoproliferative disorder of the GI tract (previously known as NK-cell enteropathy).

This study aimed to develop novel hydrogels using polycaprolactone (PCL), nano-silver (Ag), and linalool (Lin) to address the challenge of increasing antimicrobial resistance in healing infected wounds. The hydrogels' morphological properties, in vitro release profiles, antibacterial efficacy, and safety were investigated. Hydrogels were prepared from PCL/Ag, PCL/Lin, and PCL/Ag/Lin formulations and applied to infected wounds.
