Published: July 2002

The title compound, C(4)H(14)N(2)O(2+) x HPO(4)(2-) x H(2)O, contains alternating interleaved layers of hydrogenphosphate and N-(2-hydroxyethyl)ethylenediammonium moieties. The water molecules are associated with channel-like voids in the structure and a network of hydrogen bonds stabilizes the crystal packing.

Testing a biexponential kinetic model for the heterogeneous isotopic exchange of phosphate ions on several types of soil.

Appl Radiat Isot

November 2024

Imre Lajos Isotope Laboratory, Department of Physical Chemistry, Institute of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences, University of Debrecen, Egyetem tér 1., H-4032, Debrecen, Hungary.

In this study, a new kinetic equation was applied for the heterogeneous isotopic exchange of phosphate ions on soil. Phosphate sorption on chernozem, marshy meadow and meadow soil was studied by P-32 heterogeneous isotopic exchange in steady-state. The soil samples were incubated with 5 different amounts of KHPO for 1, 3, 13, 10, 12 and 22 weeks.

Layered zinc(II) hydroxides (LZH) intercalating the deprotonated forms of -(-) or -(+)-1,1'-binaphthyl-2,2'-diyl hydrogenphosphate (denoted as - or -BNDHPH, respectively) were prepared from Zn(NO) at pH 5 and 60 °C by the mixing method. The obtained hybrid compounds (denoted as - or -BNDHP/LZH, respectively) were heated from room temperature up to 800 °C under nitrogen atmosphere. According to the thermal gravimetric/differential thermal analysis measurements, hydroxyl groups were dehydrated at 270-400 °C, followed by the decomposition of organic components at 420-600 °C.

The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of potassium-based emulsifying salts (ES; 2% wt/wt concentration) with different phosphate chain lengths (dipotassium hydrogenphosphate [KHPO; DKP], tetrapotassium diphosphate [KPO; KTPP], pentapotassium triphosphate [KPO; TKPP]) on the physicochemical, viscoelastic, textural, tribological, thermal, and sensory properties of processed cheese (PC; 40% wt/wt DM, 50% wt/wt fat in DM) during a 60d storage period (6°C ± 2°C). On the whole, the hardness of all PC samples increased with the increasing chain length of ES (DKP < TKPP < KTPP) and the prolonging storage period. Moreover, the hardness results were in accordance with those of the rheological analysis.

Chiral Ligand-Concentration Mediating Asymmetric Transformations of Silver Nanoclusters: NIR-II Circularly Polarized Phosphorescence Lighting.

Angew Chem Int Ed Engl

July 2024

School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials, Shandong University, 250100, Ji'nan, People's Republic of China.

Near infrared (NIR) emitter with circularly polarized phosphorescence (CPP), known as NIR CPP, has emerged as a key part in the research of cutting-edge luminescent materials. However, it remains a challenge to obtain nanoclusters with NIR CPP activity. Here, we propose an asymmetric transformation approach to efficiently synthesize two pairs of chiral silver nanoclusters (R/S-Ag29 and R/S-Ag16) using an achiral Ag nanocluster as starting material in the presence of different concentration chiral inducer (R/S)-1,1'-binaphthyl-2,2'-diyl hydrogenphosphate (R/S-BNP).

O-H Insertion of Hydrogenphosphate Derivatives and α-Diazo Compounds.

Antibiotics Research and Re-evaluation Key Laboratory of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Industrial Institute of Antibiotics, School of Pharmacy, Chengdu University, Chengdu 610106, China.

An efficient O-H insertion of hydrogenphosphate derivatives and α-diazo compounds has been developed to construct α-phosphoryloxy scaffolds. Diverse α-phosphoryloxy skeletons could be obtained under mild and catalyst-free conditions in good yields. The control experiments suggest a protonation and nucleophilic addition process of α-diazo compounds via a diazonium ion pair for this transformation.
