Case Report: A clinical case of Wilson's disease is presented. She was a 26 years old woman who began to show psychological symptoms, and later developed neurological signs such as asymmetrical hand tremor, parkinsonism, dystonia and later dysphagia and mutism. The ophthalmological examination found a Kayser Fleischer ring in the Descemet membrane. There was disturbance of copper metabolism documented with reduction of serum ceruloplasmin and increase of the urinary excretion of copper. Cirrhosis was demonstrated through laparoscopy and liver biopsy.
Results: The brain magnetic resonance showed frontotemporal atrophy and a degenerative process at the basal ganglia, cerebellum and brain stem, data which could de used to suggest the probable neuropsychiatric physiopathology. The stenosis and intense cervical dysphagia, associated with crycopharyngeal membrane, has not been mentioned previously.

The present case report describes the endodontic treatment of a type III B dens invaginatus (DI) in a three-rooted mandibular second molar since the invagination invades the root and extends apically. Clinical and cone-beam computed tomography examination of the mandibular second molar showed a broadened coronal morphology, DI, a third root, periapical radiolucency, and compression of a distal root canal by the invagination, which developed an atypical semilunar shape. The outbreak was linked to the introduction of five healthy non-resident horses 15 days prior to the first case of acute recumbency. A historical perspective of more than one hundred years of influenza surveillance in New York State demonstrates the progression from anecdotes and case counts to next-generation sequencing and electronic database management, greatly improving pandemic preparedness and response. Here, we determined if influenza virologic surveillance at the New York State public health laboratory (NYS PHL) tests sufficient specimen numbers within preferred confidence limits to assess situational awareness and detect novel viruses that pose a pandemic risk.
