Background: The incidence of () infection in patients with cirrhosis has been increasing over recent years, posing certain difficulties in clinical treatment.
Aim: To analyze the clinical features of patients with liver cirrhosis and identify the risk factors to help the early diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.
Methods: Clinical data and laboratory tests were collected from 72 patients with cirrhosis confirmed by secretion or blood culture of infection at Beijing Ditan Hospital, Capital Medical University, between May 2016 and October 2018.

Introduction: The role of low-pathogenic bacteria cultured from removed spinal implants is unclear and the efficacy of perioperative single-dose antibiotics against such bacteria remains underexplored.
Research Question: This study aims to investigate whether pedicle screw loosening is associated with pathogens and if the choice of perioperative antibiotics can prevent these bacteria.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 93 patients with implants removed between 01/01/2018 and 03/31/2020.

Background: The gut microbiota plays a pivotal role in ulcerative colitis (UC) development. This study explores the impact of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) on the gut microbiota in UC and assesses changes during vedolizumab treatment, investigating prophylactic anti-tuberculosis therapy.
Results: This cohort study included adult patients with UC receiving vedolizumab treatment at Jinhua Hospital, Zhejiang University from April 2021 to December 2022.
