One of the most important pieces of evidence to find the suspect of a sexual assault are semen stains. It has been observed that suspects do not use condoms in many cases and transfer seminal fluids over the body of the victim, to their clothes, to bed linen, or to other objects in the environment. However, in many cases, it has been seen that the suspects or the victims tend to clean their bodies and clothes because of psychological conditions such as fear, panic, and anxiety.

Migraine is a chronic, disabling neurological disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of headache. Psychiatric disorders have been reported to arise due to a patient's physical and emotional stress caused by migraine episodes, with anxiety disorders being one of the most commonly associated psychiatric disorder with migraine. This association poses the question of similar or shared pathogenesis between the two disorders and raises a concern for the diagnosis and management of situations when these disorders present together.

From 1995 to 2014, intrauterine devices (IUDs) rose from ranking 10th (out of 11) among contraceptive methods to being the fourth most popular, outnumbered only by the pill, sterilization, and condoms. In 1995, the IUD had been largely abandoned by American doctors; two decades later, major medical associations promoted it as a "first line" method for prospective users of all ages. This paper explains the rapid and dramatic increase in intrauterine contraception by exploring three influential factors from the 1970s-1980s - the Dalkon Shield disaster, the lack of innovation in contraceptive research and development, and the moral panic over teen pregnancy in America - that created circumstances by the early 2000s in which health care providers became more receptive to long-acting reversible contraception.
