Purpose: To report complete removal of conjunctival cyst using indocyanine green solution to facilitate visualization.

Design: Interventional case report.

Methods: A 71-year-old woman referred with the diagnosis of severe conjunctival chemosis of her right eye of several months' duration was found to have a large conjunctival cyst. After informed consent was obtained, surgical resection of the cyst was performed.

Results: Under topical anesthesia, indocyanine green solution was injected through a 27-gauge needle into the conjunctival cyst. This achieved excellent visualization of the cyst outline and facilitated complete resection. During the resection, staining of the cyst wall remained despite a small perforation in the capsule, and complete resection was achieved without difficulty.

Conclusion: Injection of indocyanine green solution into a conjunctival cyst may be used to facilitate visualization and aid in complete resection of the cyst wall.

Peribronchiolar metaplasia is an uncommon lesion characterized by fibrosis and bronchiolar epithelial cell proliferation along the peribronchiolar alveolar walls, primarily in response to bronchiolar and peribronchiolar injuries. Peribronchiolar metaplasia usually appears as ground glass nodules or sub-solid nodules on computed tomography. However, we present an exceptional case of peribronchiolar metaplasia that appeared as a solitary solid nodule on computed tomography.

Background: Cystic fibrosis (CF) is caused by variants in a gene that encodes a protein essential for water and ion transport in the epithelial cells of exocrine organs. Given the possible relationship of this protein and conjunctival and corneal epithelium, the aim of this study was to evaluate ophthalmologic alterations in people with CF.

Methods: Forty-five people with CF underwent pulmonary evaluation including inflammatory score (IS).

Reconstruction after the excision of a lower eyelid tumor should be focused on the restoration of both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Accurate identification and appropriate intervention are crucial for the favorable resolution of the condition. This technique used a nasolabial mucosal-myocutaneous propeller flap to reconstruct a huge full-thickness defection of right lower eyelid because of basal cell carcinoma.
