Pediatric-type follicular lymphoma (PTFL) is an extremely rare B-cell lymphoma that primarily affects children and young adults, typically in individuals under 25 years old, with a median age of 15 years. Here, we report a rare case of PTFL in a 27-year-old adult male who presented with a slow-growing mass near his left ear. Initial CT scans of the neck revealed two oval-shaped, smooth, well-defined, homogeneously enhancing soft tissue density lesions in the superficial lobe of the left parotid gland.

Purpose: Tinnitus is considered a neurological disorder affecting both auditory and nonauditory networks. This study aimed to investigate the structural brain covariance network in tinnitus patients and analyze its altered topological properties.
Materials: Fifty three primary tinnitus patients and 67 age- and sex-matched healthy controls (HCs) were included.

Background: Cognitive decline may occur in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and is particularly severe in patients with ESRD undergoing hemodialysis; however, the mechanism of this relationship between cognitive decline and ESRD is unclear. Cortical-based structural and functional analysis can be used to understand these cortical changes and their relationship with cognitive decline in non-dialysis and maintenance dialysis ESRD patients. This study aimed to examine whether there was any correlation between alterations in cortical and resting-state function changes and cognitive decline in patients diagnosed with ESRD.

Objectives: Due to the absence of objective diagnostic criteria, tinnitus diagnosis primarily relies on subjective assessments. However, its neuropathological features can be objectively quantified using electroencephalography (EEG). Despite the existing research, the pathophysiology of tinnitus remains unclear.

Introduction: Evidence increasingly shows that facial emotion recognition (FER) is impaired in refractory mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (rMTLE), especially in patients with a right focus. This study explores FER in both mild (mMTLE) and refractory forms, examining the influence of epileptic focus lateralization on FER.
Methods: 50 MTLE patients, categorized by epilepsy severity and focus lateralization, were compared with healthy controls.
