A new method of surgical treatment of decompensated duodenal stenosis, consisting of duodenoplasty with duodenal ulcer excision, segmentary resection of gastric corpus with preservation of pyloroantral portion and formation of fundocorporoantrumanastomosis on the whole opening, was presented. In 24 patients in late follow-up terms after the operation the rhythmical, portional evacuation of gastric content was observed, the ulcer recurrency was not noted.

Mexico Liver Transplant Study Group, Mexico City, Mexico.

Right superior resection (segments 7 and 8) is an uncommon resection for liver malignancies, with most of the literature limited to case reports and small series. Resection of segments 4, 7, and 8 has been reported in only a few cases. When the right hepatic vein is resected, venous reconstruction or identification of one or more right inferior hepatic veins is considered mandatory, to maintain segmentary function of segments 5 and 6.

Urachal carcinoma is a rare and aggressive tumor, involving the urachus and the bladder. Symptoms of urachal carcinoma usually appear at later stages of the disease; therefore, these tumors are diagnosed in advanced stages, providing limited options for curative treatment. Background: It is well known that full segmentary resection can be performed using oncoplastic surgery (OPS) techniques, and the anatomic resection of the ductal system is possible. Therefore, the efficacy and safety of OPS should be investigated in the treatment of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).

Patients And Methods: Patients who were diagnosed as pure DCIS and underwent surgical treatment and follow-up were retrospectively evaluated.
