This study developed an animal model with internal and external urethral sphincter insufficiency by bypassing the sphincter without major damage so that the animal under study can return to normal life after the study. There is a need for a reliable, applicable, and reproducible animal model for studying urinary incontinency disease due to incorrect sphincter function. Seven adult male dogs were used for this study.

With the implementation of online adaptive radiotherapy, the reproducibility of organ volumes is no longer a prerequisite. - The study aimed to compare the effectiveness and toxicity of two radiation techniques for treating locally advanced cervical cancer: traditional 3DCRT and advanced IG-IMRT, to lessen side effects while maintaining tumor control.
- Conducted as a randomized trial, 173 patients were evaluated after being treated with external beam radiation and brachytherapy, with results showing IG-IMRT led to significantly reduced acute toxicities while maintaining similar tumor control rates to 3DCRT.
