This paper addresses the risks associated with the exponential increase in the use of wireless communications and the implementation of wireless as a set of COTS technologies available in most large-scale computer-based systems. It describes the critical impact of these trends on information assurance, as well as on the trustworthiness of the infrastructures that are interdependent on and interconnected with wireless communications. A holistic process of risk assessment and management is suggested to prevent future problems.

Holographic multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) method leverages spatial diversity to enhance the performance of wireless communications and is expected to be a key technology enabling for high-speed data services in the forthcoming sixth generation (6G) networks. However, the antenna array commonly used in the traditional massive MIMO cannot meet the requirements of low cost, low complexity and high spatial resolution simultaneously, especially in higher frequency bands. Hence it is important to achieve a feasible hardware platform to support theoretical study of the holographic MIMO communications.

A novel balloon-type photoacoustic cell (BTPAC) is proposed to facilitate the detection limitations of acetylene (CH) gas achieving ppb level. Here, an ellipsoidal photoacoustic cavity is employed as the platform for gas-light interaction. By strategically directing the excitation source towards the focal point of the ellipsoidal cavity, ensuring its trajectory traverses the focal point upon each reflection from the interior walls.

The aim of this study is to address the limitations of convolutional networks in recognizing modulation patterns. These networks are unable to utilize temporal information effectively for feature extraction and modulation pattern recognition, resulting in inefficient modulation pattern recognition. To address this issue, a signal modulation recognition method based on a two-way interactive temporal attention network algorithm has been developed.
