Purpose: The distinction between pellucid-like keratoconus (PLK) and pellucid marginal corneal degeneration (PMD) based on tomographic examinations is difficult. In this study, corneal tomographic and biomechanical parameters, after classifying PMD and PLK using swept-source optical coherence tomography, were analyzed.
Methods: Diagnoses of PLK and PMD were made using SS-OCT imaging, two groups were formed: PLK (n = 30) and PMD (n = 10).

Background: Ptotic breast deformity arises from decreased breast tissue volume and skin laxity, causing descent of breast tissue due to gravity. Mastopexy lifts and reshapes the breast and can be potentially associated with breast implants in case of need of volume increase. However, this option is not accepted by all the patients.

Objective: The aim of this study was to synthesize existing knowledge regarding the anatomy of the cavernous sinus (CS), critically evaluate the current anatomical hypotheses concerning its walls, to conduct anatomical dissections and develop a comprehensive understanding of the connective tissue structure of the CS.
Methods: We performed systematic dissections on fifteen fresh adult cadavers. Specifically, five specimens were approached laterally, five were sectioned in the axial plane, and five were dissected using endoscopic endonasal techniques.

Purpose: Lumbar paraspinal intramuscular fat (IMF) has emerged as a biological factor in low back pain (LBP). Traditional assessments measure IMF across the entire muscle or at specific levels and may miss key information on the role of IMF in LBP. Despite known variations across the lumbar spine, the three-dimensional (3D) distribution of IMF has not been characterized across people.
