We assigned additional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay antibody concentrations (immunoglobulin G [IgG], IgM, and IgA, and total) to the Neisseria meningitidis standard reference serum CDC1992 for groups Y and W-135 to 12 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention quality control sera. These assignments will supplement previous assignments and will aid in the evaluation of present and developing vaccines.

3-Methylcytidine (m3C), a prevalent modification of transfer RNAs (tRNAs), was recently identified in eukaryotic messenger RNAs (mRNAs). However, its precise distribution and formation mechanisms in mRNAs remain elusive. Here, we develop a novel approach, m3C immunoprecipitation and sequencing (m3C-IP-seq), utilizing antibody enrichment to profile the m3C methylome at single-nucleotide resolution.

In the downstream processing of antibody-based therapeutics, ultrafiltration/diafiltration (UF/DF) is commonly applied for concentration and buffer exchange in the final formulation. For a given molecule, various factors such as membrane type, feed flux, and transmembrane pressure (TMP) can significantly influence the performance of UF/DF, impacting yield, buffer exchange efficiency, and product quality. Conventional membrane pore size selection is based on product molecular weight to ensure high retention.

Introduction: Proven risk factors for thyroid orbitopathy (TO) are thyroid dysfunction, smoking, and high levels of thyrotropin receptor antibodies (TRAb), and the role of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), the receptor for IGF-1 (IGF-1R), and antibodies to the receptor for IGF-1 (IGF-1RAb) are also debated. IGF-1R is overexpressed in fibroblasts and orbital lymphocytes in TO patients. It forms a functional complex and mediates signal transduction through thyroid stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR).

Antigen specific humoral immunity can be characterized by the analysis of serum antibodies. While serological assays for the measurement of specific antibody levels are available, these are not quantitative in the biochemical sense. Yet, understanding humoral immune responses quantitatively on the systemic level would need a universal, complete, quantitative, comparable measurement method of antigen specific serum antibodies of selected immunoglobulin classes.

Avian infectious bronchitis (IB) is one of the major respiratory diseases in poultry. At present, attenuated vaccines are the main commercial vaccines, but they have many defects. We aimed to construct a novel multi-epitope DNA vaccine based on avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) S1 and N proteins for the prevention of IBV infection.
