Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) is a progressive vascular condition characterized by venous hypertension and chronic inflammation, leading to significant clinical and socioeconomic impacts. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of emerging pharmacological interventions for CVI, focusing on clinical outcomes such as pain, edema, cutaneous blood flow, and quality of life. Eligible interventions comprised new vasoprotective drugs, such as hydroxyethylrutoside, Pycnogenol, aminaphthone, coumarin + troxerutin, and Venoruton, compared to the standard therapy of diosmin and hesperidin.

: Larval therapy (LT), an intervention using live fly larvae to remove necrotic tissue and promote healing, has regained attention in order to address the growing need for chronic wound management. LT was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2004 to treat difficult-to-heal wounds; however, LT remains an underutilized therapy. To evaluate efficacy of LT in a systematic review and meta-analysis of wound outcomes from randomized controlled trials (RCTs).

Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) is a rare T-cell malignancy characterized by inflamed and painful rash-like skin lesions that may affect large portions of the body's surface. Patients experience recurrent infections due to a compromised skin barrier and generalized immunodeficiency resulting from a dominant Th2 immune phenotype of CTCL cells. Given the role of the unfolded protein response (UPR) in normal and malignant T-cell development, we investigated the impact of UPR-inducing drugs on the viability, transcriptional networks, and Th2 phenotype of CTCL.

Cetaceans exhibit remarkable wound healing capabilities. However, the specific immune mechanisms underlying this process, particularly the role of γδ T cells, remains largely unexplored. In ruminants, pigs, and camelids, which are members of the order Cetartiodactyla alongside cetaceans, γδ T cells express a unique receptor called workshop cluster 1 (WC1).

Background: Trichoscopy is a simple, noninvasive tool to help in the diagnosis of various hair and scalp disorders. There is paucity of data on the normal trichoscopic parameters of hair density and diameter in the Indian population.
Aim: The aim of this study was to establish the trichoscopic patterns of hair and scalp in healthy Indian males and to provide a framework for future reference.
