The lower limit for elective delivery depends on technical and ethical issues. Elective delivery is usually accepted after 26 weeks gestation with a 60% survival rate and a 30% handicap rate. Decision making requires close coordination between obstetricians and pediatricians. Sufficient time must be devoted to providing the parents with adequate information. The physician plays a crucial role in decision making, but parent's information and consent are essential.

The objective was to document and compare the information returned from stratified, fixed effect and random effect approaches to data modelling for two prototypical descriptive research questions about comparative trends in toothbrushing.

Introduction: The benefits of sharing participant-level data, including clinical or epidemiological data, genomic data, high-dimensional imaging data, or human-derived samples, from biomedical studies have been widely touted and may be taken for granted. As investments in data sharing and reuse efforts continue to grow, understanding the cost and positive and negative effects of data sharing for research participants, the general public, individual researchers, research and development, clinical practice, and public health is of growing importance.
