The developmental stability of small-leaved lime (Tina cordata Mill.) was estimated in populations on territories of the Kerzhenskii State Nature Reserve, Nizhni Novgorod District, and in an industrial region of Nizhni Novgorod. The developmental stability was estimated according to the fluctuating asymmetry of the leaf measurements. The results obtained suggest that, in the urbanized territory, the homeostatic developmental mechanisms are weakened, as expressed in the increased degree of leaf asymmetry.

The compaction of chromatin is a prevalent paradigm in gene repression. Chromatin compaction is commonly thought to repress transcription by restricting chromatin accessibility. However, the spatial organization and dynamics of chromatin compacted by gene-repressing factors are unknown.

During mouse embryonic development, the embryonic day (E) 5.5 stage represents a crucial period for the formation of the primitive body axis, where the symmetry breaking of cellular states influences the multicellular system. Elucidating the detailed mechanisms of this process necessitates a trans-layered dynamic observation of the embryo and all internal cells.

Neurexin cell-adhesion molecules regulate synapse development and function by recruiting synaptic components. Here, we uncover a mechanism for presynaptic assembly that precedes neurexin recruitment, mediated by interactions between cytosolic proteins and membrane phospholipids. Developmental imaging in C.

β-tubulin isotypes exhibit similar sequences but different activities, suggesting that limited sequence divergence is functionally important. We investigated this hypothesis for TUBB3/β3, a β-tubulin linked to aggressive cancers and chemoresistance in humans. We created mutant yeast strains with β-tubulin alleles that mimic variant residues in β3 and find that residues at the lateral interface are sufficient to alter microtubule dynamics and response to microtubule targeting agents.

In tropical countries, malaria transmission is the major health issue. To eradicate malaria, health communities depend on the control measure that affects economy and environment of the countries. To overcome these burdens, there is a great need to develop vaccine against malaria, but there is no vaccine to control malaria effectively.
