Introduction: Spinal cord injury (SCI) can result in sensory and locomotor function loss below the injured segment. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has been proven to alleviate SCI. This study aims to establish a reproducible rat model of SCI and investigate the impact of HBOT on alterations in brain neuronal activity and neuromotor function in this experimental rat SCI model using resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI).

Radiofrequency renal denervation (RF RDN) is a novel therapy for uncontrolled hypertension. In the recent sham-controlled SPYRAL HTN-ON MED study, office-based systolic blood pressure (oSBP) and nighttime BP were reduced significantly. This study examined the cost-effectiveness of RF RDN in the context of the Japanese healthcare system based on this latest clinical evidence.

The development of better density functional theory (DFT) methods is one of the most active research areas, given the importance of DFT for ubiquitous molecular and materials simulations. However, this research primarily focuses on improving a specific exchange-correlation Kohn-Sham density functional. Here, a robust procedure is proposed for constructing transferable ensembles of density functionals that perform superior to any constituent individual density functional.
