Maltoma of the thyroid associated to Graves'disease is not such a frequently described association. We report a case of Maltoma of the thyroid gland in a patient with Grave's disease. The diagnosis was established by histological examination after total thyroidectomy. Slow enlargement of the thyroid gland despite a clinically successful antithyroid drug therapy could be considered as an advocating clinical manifestation. Associated anti-neoplastic chemotherapy and cervical irradiation resulted in good outcome with six years follow-up. A review is presented on treatment and prognosis of these tumors.

Primary thyroid lymphomas comprise largely extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (EMZL) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), followed by follicular lymphoma (FL). They commonly develop from a background of Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT), where dysregulated immune responses trigger autoreactive infiltrates and drive clonal B-cell evolution. To understand how these lymphomas and their relapse evolve, we investigated 10 cases by mutation profiling, including five with metachronous lymphomas [primary lymphoma (EMZL = 4, DLBCL = 1) with local relapse (EMZL = 3, DLBCL = 2)], one composite EMZL and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-positive DLBCL, and four lymphomas (EMZL = 3, FL = 1) with prior or subsequent biopsy showing HT.

Background: This study characterizes lymphomas presenting as palpable head and neck masses and evaluates the role of fine needle aspiration (FNA) and flow cytometry (FC) in diagnosis.
Design: A 5-year retrospective review of FNAs performed by pathologists in an ENT clinic identified cases with a predominant lymphoid population that lacked an epithelial component. Cytology, FC, and subsequent surgical pathology diagnoses were correlated.

Marginal zone lymphoma of the mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT lymphoma) represents 8% of all B-cell lymphomas and it is the most common small B-cell lymphoma arising at extranodal sites. The gold-standard test to establish a diagnosis of MALT lymphoma remains histopathologic analysis with the aid of immunohistochemistry (IHC) and/or flow cytometry immunophenotypic analysis. MALT lymphoma represents a progression from a persistent chronic inflammatory process, and therefore distinguishing MALT lymphoma from chronic inflammation by histopathology may be challenging in some cases.

Background: Drinking water at US Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, was contaminated with trichloroethylene and other industrial solvents from 1953 to 1985.
Methods: A cohort cancer incidence study was conducted of Marines/Navy personnel who began service and were stationed at Camp Lejeune () or Camp Pendleton, California () between 1975 and 1985 and civilian workers employed at Camp Lejeune () or Camp Pendleton () between October 1972 and December 1985. Camp Pendleton's drinking water was not contaminated with industrial solvents.

To investigate the clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of primary thyroid lymphoma (PTL) . A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical and pathological data of 34 newly diagnosed PTL patients admitted to Beijing Tongren Hospital from September 2010 to February 2023. The Kaplan-Meier survival curve and Log-rank test were used for survival analysis, and the Cox regression model was applied for univariate analysis of prognostic factors.
