The authors present methods to evaluate occupational risk in industrial medicine. Those methods are based on MACs and MALs with consideration of WHO and ISO concepts, European instructions and other countries' experience. The authors justified hygienic criteria for evaluation and classification of working conditions, quantitative criteria to evaluate links of health disorders and work, methods to analyze structure and degrees of occupational risk, to analyze etiology relationships between work conditions and health disorders. The article covers based categories of occupational risks according to socially valuable medical and biologic parameters. Methodology is a basis for realization of new Federal Laws on safety and occupational medicine.

Materials And Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to identify adult SOT recipients referred to the pulmonary diseases department with a preliminary pneumonia diagnosis between 2011 and 2019.

The APLAR has published a set of recommendations on the management of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in 2021. The current consensus paper supplements and updates specifically the treatment of lupus nephritis (LN) according to two rounds of Delphi exercise from members of the APLAR SLE special interest group, invited nephrologists, histopathologists, and lupus nephritis patients. For initial treatment of LN, we recommend a combination of glucocorticoids (GCs) with cyclophosphamide (CYC), mycophenolate mofetil (MMF), or the calcineurin inhibitors (CNIs) as first-line options.

Introduction: Evidence suggests that gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is associated with subsequent cardiovascular disease; however, it is unclear what impact changes in screening and diagnostic criteria have had on the association of GDM with long-term outcomes such as cardiovascular disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the association between GDM and subsequent cardiovascular disease during a period of rising gestational diabetes diagnosis in England. Specifically, associations were compared before and after 2008, when national guidelines supporting risk factor-based screening were introduced.
