Pooling and imputation are computational methods that can be combined for achieving cost-effective and accurate high-density genotyping of both common and rare variants, as demonstrated in a MAGIC wheat population. The plant breeding industry has shown growing interest in using the genotype data of relevant markers for performing selection of new competitive varieties. The selection usually benefits from large amounts of marker data, and it is therefore crucial to dispose of data collection methods that are both cost-effective and reliable.

Immunoglobulin A (IgA) nephropathy also known as Berger's disease, is a silent monster and perhaps the most prevalent glomerulonephritis that often accounts for end-stage kidney failure, thereby signifying a growing public health problem worldwide. The limited amount of available data and a broad spectrum of dysregulated physiological processes of IgAN make it a challenging task and a disproportionate economic load on the community health sector. Celosia cristata is an Amaranthaceous plant with attractive colorful inflorescences that are used in various regions of earth for the treatment of numerous ailments.

Department of Pathology and Pathophysiology, College of Basic Medical Science, Guizhou Medical University, Guiyang, 550004, People's Republic of China.

Background: Emerging evidence continues to highlight the significant role of microRNAs (miRNAs) in the regulation of cancer growth and metastasis. Herein, the current study aimed to elucidate the role of exosomal miR-183 in prostate cancer development.

Methods: Initially, public microarray-based gene expression profiling of prostate cancer was employed to identify differentially expressed miRNAs.

Eukaryotic gene expression is often tightly regulated by interactions between transcription factors (TFs) and their DNA targets. Yeast one-hybrid (Y1H) is one of the most extensively used methods to discover these interactions. We developed a high-throughput meiosis-directed yeast one-hybrid system using the Magic Markers of the synthetic genetic array analysis.

Metabolism reprogramming is considered a hallmark of cancer. The study of bladder cancer (BC) metabolism could be the key to developing new strategies for diagnosis and therapy. This work aimed to identify tissue and urinary metabolic signatures as biomarkers of BC and get further insight into BC tumor biology through the study of gene-metabolite networks and the integration of metabolomics and transcriptomics data.
