Research on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) access to bank finance is vital for the euro area economy. Introduction: Intraoperative hemodynamic and metabolic optimization of both the high-risk surgical patients and critically ill patients remains challenging. Reductions in oxygen delivery or increases in oxygen consumption can initiate complex cellular processes precipitating oxygen debt (OXD).
Methods: This study tested the hypothesis that intraoperative changes in sublingual microcirculatory flow reflect clinically relevant transitions from aerobic to anaerobic metabolism (TRANAM).

Introduction: Limited research has examined the economic impact of vision difficulty (VD) and dementia on older adults and their caregivers. We aimed to determine whether older adults with VD and/or dementia, and their caregivers, face more economic hardships than their counterparts without VD or dementia.
Methods: We used cross-sectional data from the 2015 National Health and Aging Trends Study (NHATS), a population-based survey of Medicare beneficiaries, linked to their family/unpaid caregivers from the National Study of Caregiving (NSOC).

By using COVID-19 as an exogenous shock to China's stock market, this paper applies fixed effects panel data analysis with a difference-in-differences research design to provide robust empirical outcomes.
