Background: Resin composites and dental adhesives are widely used to restore carious teeth. A relatively new category of the dental adhesives, the universal adhesives (UAs) is considered user friendly because of its simplicity to use and compatibility with any adhesive strategy. However, the adhesive interface created by these adhesives is highly susceptible to cracking after polymerization which in turn facilitates the initiation of secondary caries.

Fluorescence sensing is widely used in in vitro detection due to its high sensitivity and rapid result delivery. However, detection systems based on nanomaterials involving complex and cumbersome purification steps can lead to sample loss and significantly reduce the accuracy of the results. To address this issue, we proposed a lanthanide-based aptasensor featuring the target-triggered antenna effect to significantly enhance the time-resolved luminescence (TRL) of chelated Tb combined with a wash-free strategy.

There is still much to be learned about the properties of siderophores and their applications. This study was designed to characterize and optimize the production of the siderophore produced by a marine bacterium Pseudomonas sp. strain ASA235 and then evaluate their use in bioleaching of rare earth elements (REEs) from spent Nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries.

In this study, a novel antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) consisting of Rituximab and Chlorambucil (Rituximab-CMB) was synthesized. The average number of drug molecules attached per Rituximab molecule was determined using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, revealing a range of 4-6 drug molecules per antibody. To further improve the therapeutic potential of the ADC, it was radiolabeled with the therapeutic radionuclide Lu via a DOTA chelator, achieving a final radiochemical purity of over 95%.

Herein we present a series of luminescent Tb(III)-probes ([Tb-Ltrp], [Tb-Ltyr], and [Tb-Lphe]) for sensing and discriminating purine nucleoside polyphosphates (NPP) based on a modified DTTA chelator appended to aromatic amino acids (Laa). The optically most effective luminescent [Tb-Ltrp] probe preferentially discriminates the guanine-NPPs over the adenine-NPPs PeT-based modulation of Tb(III) luminescence within the biological concentration range.
