Purpose: A newer design of crowns known as Endocrowns was introduced for endodontically treated teeth. The aim of this in vitro study was to compare fracture resistance and failure modes of two margin preparation for computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD-CAM) fabricated polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) endocrowns for primary molars.
Methods: Twenty extracted human primary molars were pulpectomized and restored with composite resin as per the standard protocol.

Background: The WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR) faces major social, economic, and demographic challenges, with nearly half of its countries affected by conflicts that severely disrupt health systems. This study compared antimicrobial resistance (AMR) rates and surveillance efforts in conflict-affected, fragile, and non-conflict countries, further subdivided by income.
Methods: Data on bacteriologically confirmed bloodstream infections (BC-BSIs) from 2017 to 2021 were extracted from the WHO GLASS database.

A novel Zinc-Tellurite borosilicate (ZTBS) glass system was successfully synthesized via the melt quench process. Its chemical composition is represented by the formula (44SiO-25BO-18NaO-6CaO-1ZrO-(6-x)ZnO-xTeO), and its weight fraction (x = 0, 2, 4, 6 wt%). The shielding properties, there is perfect agreement between the results of the theoretical calculation of the mass attenuation coefficient using the Phy-X/PSD and the compatible values derived from the WinXCom databases.
