The goal of maintenance of certification (MOC) activities is to ensure physicians are up to date on current practices and demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to provide patients with optimal care. The program's aim is to promote professional development, lifelong learning and quality assurance for the public and medical community. Background: Though efforts have been made toward standardizing access to quality cancer care in Japan, there are still geographical and institutional disparities in the level of cancer care availability. We investigated the utilization of cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibitors plus endocrine therapy (CDK4/6i+ET) as first-line (1 L) treatment for hormone receptor-positive (HR+)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) advanced breast cancer (ABC) in Japan.
Research Design And Methods: This cross-sectional survey included physicians who had treated ≥3 1 L patients with HR+/HER2- ABC in the past year.
Background: An intensive care unit (ICU) diary provides a powerful and moving account of a patient's journey through critical care.
Aim: The primary goal of this research was to explore the qualitative perceptions of general ICU survivors toward the ICU diary, which was completed during their hospital stay and reintroduced to them during a follow-up visit 6 months after ICU discharge.
Setting: An Italian general ICU with structured follow-up and an ICU diary program.

Objective: Experts recommend structured shared decision making when discussing lung cancer screening (LCS) and reporting low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) results. We examined patients' reactions to pre- and post-LDCT results communication processes at three medical centers in the US with established LCS programs.
Methods: Multicenter, qualitative, longitudinal study of patients considering and receiving LCS using data from semi-structured interviews guided by a patient-centered communication model using conventional content analysis.
