Hemodynamics during laparoscopic surgery in pregnancy.

During laparoscopic cholecystectomy in four pregnant women, we observed hemodynamic changes similar to those in nonpregnant patients (i.e., decreases in cardiac index together with increases in mean arterial blood pressure and systemic vascular resistance).
