Background: TREM2 signaling has been implicated in Alzheimer's Disease (AD). TREM2 regulates microglial states and functions such as phagocytosis. The most prominent TREM signaling adapter is DAP12, encoded by TYROBP.

CD8 T cells, a subset of T cells identified by the surface glycoprotein CD8, particularly those expressing the co-stimulatory molecule CD226, play a crucial role in the immune response to malignancies. However, their role in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), an immunosuppressive disease, has not yet been explored. We studied 64 CLL patients and 25 age- and sex-matched healthy controls (HCs).

Introduction: Rhesus macaques have long been a focus of research for understanding immune responses to human pathogens due to their close phylogenetic relationship with humans. As rhesus macaque antibody germlines show high degrees of polymorphism, the spectrum of database-covered genes expressed in individual macaques remains to be determined.

Methods: Here, four rhesus macaques infected with SHIV became a study of interest because they developed broadly neutralizing antibodies against HIV-1.

Coexistence of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and hepatitis B surface antibody (anti-HBs) has been observed in some chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients (DP patients), but the clinical outcomes and comprehensive characterization of immune micro-environmental changes for this specific population remain inconclusive. In this study, we retrospectively analyze the prognosis of 305 patients in Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China, and also investigated the molecular immunology changes in HBsAg and anti-HBs double positive CHB patients (DP group), CHB patients who had recovered from IFN-ɑ treatment (RP group), and healthy controls (HC group) using T cell receptor (TCR) and B cell receptor (BCR) immune repertoire sequencing. Our findings revealed that 22.

Immunoglobulin GM (γ marker) and KM (κ marker) allotypes-encoded by immunoglobulin heavy chain G (IGHG) and immunoglobulin κ constant (IGKC) genes-have been shown to be associated with immune responsiveness to a variety of self and nonself antigens. The aim of the present investigation was to determine whether allelic variation at the GM and KM loci was associated with antibody responsiveness to poly-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine (PNAG), a broadly-conserved surface polysaccharide expressed by many microbial pathogens. In addition, we wished to determine whether Fcγ receptor 2 A (FCGR2A) genotypes, which have been shown to be risk factors for some pathogens, also influenced antibody responses to PNAG.
