The Cochrane collaboration has recently published a systematic review of placebo controlled randomized trials of herbal therapies for rheumatoid arthritis. An extensive search including all languages screened 2500 hits, identified 47 trials and accepted 11 as meeting set quality criteria. Modest efficacy of gamma linolenic acid containing products was supported by 7 trials, 4 trials dealt with 4 different products, and no conclusions could be derived from these. Although it was stated in the review that safety was probably good, this is not apparent from the presented material.

In this study, we explored the impact of land-use changes on carbon sinks in terrestrial ecosystems from a watershed perspective under the backdrop of "carbon peak and neutrality." This will provide robust support for scientific decision-making and the sustainable development of integrated watershed management. Watershed ecosystems encompass natural, social, and economic dimensions and are crucial for improving regional ecological quality and ensuring sustainable development.

Although the original purpose of this article was to provide a comprehensive review of services provided for autistic children among Indigenous communities in Texas, USA, the authors' encounter with a significant paucity in availability of data and relevant reports on Indigenous services for ASD spurred the choice of a perspective article instead as it allows a more critical view into the pitfalls surrounding the state of autism services. The meager documentation availability presents a dilemma for both researchers and Indigenous communities since it often leads to misrepresentations of data, and limits understanding of existing support systems. This perspective article addresses these issues and serves to highlight the complexity of collecting data among Indigenous populations across the United States.

Among these factors, exercise appears likely to have influenced otherwise cryptic cases of early-onset postvaccination myocarditis. And the existence of a distinct late-onset myocarditis is now being recognized.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate published clinical trials of ramucirumab to assess the risk/benefit profile and burden over time for patients.
Background: The burden of oncologic drug development on patients paired with increasing clinical trial failure rates emphasizes the need for reform of drug development. Identifying and addressing patterns of excess burden can guide policy, ensure evidence-based protections for trial participants, and improve medical decision-making.
