A new glass-ceramic material, IPS Empress 2, is revolutionizing esthetic restorative dentistry by allowing metal-free, three-unit bridge construction in anterior and premolar single-pontic areas. The case discussed in this article illustrates the material's application in the dual-arch restoration of a young woman with congenitally missing teeth. The material was used as an alternative to single-tooth implant restorations to place two maxillary three-unit bridges, one mandibular three-unit bridge, and two mandibular porcelain veneers. IPS Empress 2 provides an esthetic alternative to porcelain-fused-to-metal restorations by facilitating attractive, functional tooth restoration.

Objectives: The aim of this research is to evaluate/compare the use of traditional versus sleeve fixed partial denture (PD) designs made from different materials on supporting structures. The comparison included three- and four-unit PD cases.
Materials And Methods: Four finite element models are used in the research.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the extent to which intraoral scanning are affected by clinical conditions, and whether ambient lighting and different color temperatures have an impact on the accuracy of intraoral scanner, as well as to evaluate scanning time.
Materials And Methods: Twelve different environments were created using various ambient lighting conditions (0, 500, 1000 and 1500 lux) and color temperatures (white, blue and yellow). A partially edentulous mandibular model with two implants and a three-unit bridge was scanned under each environment until 10 digital models were obtained, and scanning times were recorded using a virtual stopwatch.

Background: Dental implants have been essential to the therapy of patients who are partially edentulous.
Aim: Clinical evaluation of the long-term survival and success rates of different types of implant-supported prostheses.
Materials And Methods: Patients who had a healthy edentulous ridge of three missing teeth in the posterior jaw in which two or three dental implants were placed having any of three prostheses, namely, three-unit fixed dental prostheses (FPD) on two implants, three splinted crowns on three implants, and three splinted crowns on three implants were included.

A 48-year-old female with no significant past medical history presented to the emergency department with an uncommon scenario after accidentally ingesting a three-unit dental bridge, leading to its impaction within the lower gastrointestinal tract. Despite initial conservative management with laxatives aimed at facilitating spontaneous passage, the foreign body remained lodged in the colon. Subsequently, the patient underwent endoscopic intervention via colonoscopy, during which the dental bridge was successfully extracted.

The concept of bilateral cantilevers on a single central implant (T-design) for three-unit implant-supported fixed dental prostheses (ISFDPs) has not been explored nor tested. This technical hypothesis aimed to explore the feasibility of such an approach as a cost-effective alternative to conventional treatments. Careful considerations regarding implant diameter, length, ideal position, occlusal scheme, and bone remodeling are essential to ensure adequate support, stability, and prevention of complications.
