The experience of surgical treatment of 67 patients with benign and malignant sizable hepatic neoplasms was studied. Laparoscopic intervention was performed in 56 patients, one of whom died. The complications were observed in 19.6% of patients. Treatment-and-diagnostical intervention controlled by ultrasonic examination was performed in 11 patients with hepatic cyst, no complications were observed, and all patients remained alive. The intervention should be performed in order to diagnose the sizable neoplasm, and in case of hepatic cyst it should be the operation of the first choice.
