Laparoscopic techniques are slowly gaining acceptance in gynecologic oncology. Usage in early stage endometrial and ovarian cancer and in the evaluation of suspicious adnexal masses is increasing, but large prospective series have not been performed. Laparoscopic procedures carry a steep learning curve and there are a limited number of centers currently performing these procedures for oncologic indications. It seems clear, however, that for the well-selected patient, in experienced hands, laparoscopic procedures in gynecologic oncology offer many potential benefits.

Objective: We attempted to evaluate the immediate high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion-cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2/3 or worse (HSIL-CIN2+/3+, hereafter referred to as CIN2+/3+) risk of specific human papillomavirus (HPV) genotype and form the precise risk-based triage strategy for atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-US) women.
Methods: The clinical data of ASC-US women who underwent HPV genotyping testing and colposcopy were retrospectively reviewed. The distribution and CIN2+/3+ risks of specific HPV genotype were assessed by three approaches.

Objective: To compare menopause-related quality of life (QoL) after risk-reducing salpingectomy (RRS) versus risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy (RRSO) until 3 years of post-surgery.
Design: A prospective study (TUBA study) with treatment allocation based on patients' preference. Data were collected pre-surgery and at 3 months, 1 and 3 years of post-surgery.

Both chronic endometritis and endometriosis are common entities in infertile patients. The association and the co-existence of these two entities are poorly evaluated. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to examine the association between chronic endometritis and endometriosis and to find the prevalence of chronic endometritis in women with endometriosis.

Purpose: To study characteristics and identify factors associated with full manuscript publication of oral abstracts presented at gynecologic surgery societies' annual meetings.
Study Design: We reviewed all oral abstracts presented at four major gynecologic surgery meetings in 2018. Oral abstracts subsequently published as peer-reviewed manuscripts were compared to those that were not published.

Objectives: Epithelial ovarian cancer is a significant contributor to cancer-related mortality in women, frequently recurring post-treatment, often accompanied by chemotherapy resistance. Dietary interventions have demonstrated influence on cancer progression; for instance, caloric restriction has exhibited tumor growth reduction and enhanced survival in animal cancer models. In this study, we calculated a transcriptomic signature based on caloric-restriction for ovarian cancer patients and explored its correlation with ovarian cancer progression.
