Both chiral and achiral phosphoramides of diverse structure were prepared from diamines by the coupling to phosphorus(V) or phosphorus(III) reagents. Several enantiopure 1,2-diphenyl-1,2-ethanediamine analogues have been prepared by the reductive coupling of the corresponding N-silylimine with NbCl(4)(THF)(2) and subsequent resolution by the formation of diastereomeric menthyl carbamates. (S,S)-N,N'-Di-(1-naphthyl)-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-ethanediamine 15 was prepared by the arylation of (S,S)-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-ethanediamine with naphthyl iodide.

The synthetic utility of tetrabenzyl pyrophosphate for achieving chemoselective phosphorylation of phenols, as well as primary, secondary, and tertiary alcohols, is reported here. Additionally, we introduce a rapid, mild, and chemoselective debenzylation procedure, enabling access to phosphates in the presence of redox sensitive groups. Finally, stoichiometrically controlled monodebenzylation provides a versatile platform for late-stage divergent synthesis of phosphodiester and phosphoramidate chemical libraries.

Objective: We performed a scoping review of randomised clinical trials (RCTs) assessing pharmacological therapies for the initial management of lupus nephritis (LN), focusing on study design, included populations and outcome definitions, to assess the generalisability of their results and identify gaps in the evidence.
Methods: RCTs evaluating pharmacological interventions for the initial therapy of LN published between 2000 and 2024 were evaluated. Extracted variables included study design, selection criteria, outcome definitions, populations recruited and clinical characteristics of participants.

Background: Cyclophosphamide is a widely utilized chemotherapeutic agent for pediatric cancers, known to elicit adverse effects, including perturbation of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR and Hippo signaling pathways, thereby diminishing ovarian reserve and fertility potential in females. Consequently, this investigation delves into the mitigative effects of metformin on cyclophosphamide-induced ovarian impairment in prepubertal mice.
Methods: Twenty-four 14-day-old NMRI female mice were distributed into four groups: Control (Cont), Cyclophosphamide (Cyc), Metformin (Met), and Metformin plus Cyclophosphamide (Met-Cyc).

Infertility due to ovarian toxicity is a common side effect of cancer treatment in premenopausal women. Tamoxifen (TAM) is a selective estrogen receptor modulator that prevented radiation- and chemotherapy-induced ovarian failure in preclinical studies. In the current study, we examined the potential regulatory role of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in the mechanism of action of TAM in the ovaries of tumor-bearing rats receiving cyclophosphamide (CPA) as cancer therapy.
