Biotechnology is the key driving force behind the sustainable development of aquaculture, as biological innovation would significantly improve the capabilities of aquatic breeding and achieve independent and controllable seeding sources to ensure food safety. In this article, we have analyzed the current status and existing problems of marine aquaculture in China. Based on these data, we have summarized the recent (especially the last 10 years) biotechnological innovation and breeding progress of marine aquaculture in China, including whole genome sequencing, sex-related marker screening, genomic selection, and genome editing, as well as progress of improved marine fish varieties in China.

Composite nanozymes are composed of enzymes with similar or different catalytic capabilities and have higher catalytic activity than a single enzyme. In recent years, composite nanozymes have emerged as novel nanomaterial platforms for multiple applications in various research fields, where they are used to produce oxygen, consume glutathione, or produce toxic reactive oxygen species (ROS) for cancer therapy. The therapeutic approach using composite nanozymes is known as chemo-dynamic therapy (CDT).

Background: Damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) induced by immunogenic cell death (ICD) may be useful for the immunotherapy to patients undergoing pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The aim of this study is to predict the prognosis and immunotherapy responsiveness of PDAC patients using DAMPs-related genes.
Methods: K-means analysis was used to identify the DAMPs-related subtypes of 175 PDAC cases.

Objectives: This study aimed to develop an anamnesis checklist for oral contraceptive (OC) choice focused on their safety profile and associated risk factors.
Study Design: This study involved eight health care professionals in Spain, including six gynecologists and two internists, selected for their expertise in contraception counseling. We employed the design-thinking process, structured in five phases: empathizing with patients' needs, defining key areas of impact, devising innovative solutions, prototyping ideas into testable proposals, and validating prototypes.
