Objectives: The adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare is rapidly expanding, transforming areas such as diagnostics, drug discovery, and patient monitoring. Despite these advances, public perceptions of AI in healthcare, particularly in Canada, remain underexplored. This study investigates the relationship between Canadians' knowledge, comfort, and trust in AI, focusing on key sociodemographic factors like age, gender, education, and income.

Peyronie's disease (PD) is an underdiagnosed and undertreated fibroproliferative disorder associated with the formation of plaques that results in penile curvature and discourages some men from seeking medical consultation. The PD self-assessment app, a digital application (app), was developed to increase PD awareness, provide men with a self-screening and educational tool for PD, and help eliminate barriers to seeking consultation with a physician. Prior to deployment, 4 board-certified urologists provided qualitative reviews on the app's usability and utility as a screening tool.

Background: Despite Brazil's recent social progress, access to health services is still unequal. This article analyzes the inter-municipal distances traveled by pregnant women to access delivery services, documenting their magnitude and relationship to socioeconomic and risk factors for over a decade in Brazil.

Methods: Using data between 2007 and 2017 from the Brazilian Information System of Live Births and a matrix of inter-municipal distances, we describe the evolution of (i) the share of pregnant women that traveled across municipalities and (ii) the average distance they traveled.

Most forms of clinical research examine a very minute cross section of the patient journey. Much of the knowledge and evidence base driving current genomic medicine practice entails blind spots arising from underrepresentation and lack of research participation in clinicogenomic databases. The flaws are perpetuated in AI models and clinical practice guidelines that reflect the lack of diversity in data being used.
