Purpose: The aim was to quantitatively evaluate the effectiveness of LED light therapy combined with photoacceptor substances having anti-acne properties in reducing the symptoms of acne vulgaris.

Current strategies-landfilling, incineration, and recycling-remain insufficient or pose significant environmental concerns, failing to address the growing volume of plastic residues discharged into the environment. Recently, increasing attention has focused on the potential of certain insect larvae species to chew, consume, and partially biodegrade synthetic polymers such as polystyrene and polyethylene, offering novel biotechnological opportunities for plastic waste management.

Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) is a highly expressed and structurally unique target specific to prostate cancer (PCa). Diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in nuclear medicine, coupling PSMA ligands with radionuclides, have shown significant clinical success. PSMA-PET/CT effectively identifies tumors and metastatic lymph nodes for imaging purposes, while -PSMA-617 (Pluvicto) has received FDA approval for treating metastatic castration-resistant PCa (mCRPC).

Background: Individuals with first-episode psychosis (FEP) face an increased risk of physical comorbidities, notably cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, respiratory disorders, and certain types of cancer. Previous reviews report pooled physical health prevalence from chronic psychosis and FEP groups. By contrast, this review will focus on antipsychotic-naïve FEP cohorts and incorporate data from observational longitudinal studies and antipsychotic intervention studies to understand the progression of physical health comorbidities from the onset to later stages of psychosis.
