This convergence underscores the urgent need for nuanced research to navigate the uncharted territory of their mental health.

With recent outbreaks of COVID-19 and Ebola, health and healthcare have once more shown to be heavily burdened by the lack of generally effective anti-viral therapies. Initial scientific ventures towards finding anti-viral agents are soon to be followed by challenges regarding their mass production. Biocatalysis offers mild, highly selective, and environmentally benign synthetic strategies for the production of pharmaceuticals in a sustainable fashion.

This paper offers a conceptual contribution to understanding ocean governance and the management of spaces for the protection of marine biodiversity, organization of extractive industries, the arrangement of global shipping and other 'blue-economy' uses. Rather than focus on one type of management technique (such as a Marine Protected Area (MPA) or example of Marine Spatial Planning), or a site- or species-specific case study of governance, this paper offers a tracking of the uncharted territories of governance that foreground ocean management approaches. The literature on ocean governance and management techniques predominantly derive from scientific disciplines (which provide the basis for planning) and policy-related social science fields, leaving a lacuna in more critical discussions of ways of knowing and understanding the world that drive it.

Infectious diseases professional societies, public health agencies, and healthcare regulatory agencies call for antibiotic stewardship programs (ASP) in many healthcare settings. However, medical legal implications of these programs remain largely uncharted territory. Although there is no legal precedent addressing issues of liability and standards of care on this subject, anticipating how the courts may assess questions of medical liability with respect to the various components of ASPs is important to define best practices in ASP operations, not only to manage the potential risk but also to improve patient care.

Methods A qualitative approach was used to investigate perceived challenges for clinicians. Data were collected after the law had passed but before the start date for voluntary assisted dying in Victoria.
