Recovered unpublished article by the author deceased five years ago shows unconventional way of approaching the matter of Jan Mikulicz Radecki's nationality. Not putting into question his Polish origin on his father's side, at the same time he is putting into question his sense of Polish character. In order to prove his point he is making use of documents from the archives in Merseburg. Admittedly the article is devoid of glosses and call numbers of individual documents (it was prepared as lecture), but literal quoting of documents' translations, beside indication, where these documents can be found, let classify the text with works based on authority.
