Objective: To describe the clinical course and outcome of 33 patients with Kawasaki disease (KD) treated with cyclosporine (CSA) for coronary artery abnormalities (CAA) or treatment resistance.
Study Design: Single-center, retrospective study of patients with KD treated from 2013 through 2023 for CAA or treatment resistance. Demographics, laboratory studies, medications, adverse events, and echocardiographic data were analyzed.

Introduction: Electric shock occurs when electricity passes through the body, causing a range of symptoms from mild tingling to potentially life-threatening injuries such as burns, seizures, and cardiac arrest. In rare cases, Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSNHL) has also been associated with an electric shock.
Case Report: A 35-year-old male presented with left-sided hearing loss following an electric shock.

This study aimed to clarify the role and mechanism of tetrahedral framework nucleic acids (tFNAs) in regulating M2 macrophages to reduce intestinal injury. An intestinal injury model was established by intraperitoneal injection of lipopolysaccharides (LPS) in mice to explore the alleviating effects of tFNAs on intestinal injury. Inflammatory factors were detected by quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).

Calcinosis, Raynaud's phenomenon, esophageal dysmotility, sclerodactyly, and telangiectasia (CREST) syndrome, a systemic sclerosis subtype, features skin thickening, vascular issues, and organ involvement, causing complications in the gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal systems. Herein, we present a rare case of oral candidiasis, with CREST syndrome. The patient presented with xerostomia, tongue erythema, and burning pain.
