Unlabelled: Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental condition, though symptoms vary both within and between people in the population. We aimed to investigate trajectories of individual biological aging through the change in residuals of DNA methylation age estimates (EpiAge) regressed on chronological age (EpiAge Gap) in children and adolescents with and without ADHD.
Methods: Three well-established epigenetic clocks (PedBE, Horvath, and Skin & blood) were used to estimate EpiAge in 293 saliva samples from 169 participants (91 with ADHD symptoms) from the Neuroimaging of the Children's Attention Project (NICAP).

Background: In a world confronted with new and connected challenges, novel strategies are needed to help children and adults achieve their full potential, to predict, prevent and treat disease, and to achieve equity in services and outcomes. Australia's Generation Victoria (GenV) cohorts are designed for multi-pronged discovery (what could improve outcomes?) and intervention research (what actually works, how much and for whom?). Here, we describe the key features of its protocol.

Background: Ozonated water is expected to be an effective disinfectant for SARS-CoV-2 present on environmental fomites; however, ozone is consumed by organic substances, resulting in attenuation of its effect. SARS-CoV-2 present in saliva can contaminate environmental surfaces; therefore, it is essential to understand the effect of organic substances in saliva on the disinfectant properties of ozonated water.
Aim: To assess organic factors in saliva and the extent to which they diminish the effect of ozonated water on SARS-CoV-2.
