Perianal endometriosis is an infrequent form of extragenital endometriosis. A case of endometriosis in an episiotomy scar with involvement of the external anal sphincter is presented. The question of treatment is discussed. Adnexectomy is suggested when wide involvement of the external anal sphincter is diagnosed.

Primary clear cell adenocarcinoma (CCA) of the urinary bladder is a rare and aggressive malignancy. Few reports in the literature describe this presentation, as associated with malignant transformation of endometriosis. This case highlights the complex etiology of this variant of CCA, initially diagnosed using comprehensive imaging and genetic analysis, and subsequently confirmed through extensive surgical intervention and chemotherapy.

The disease may manifest itself as dysmenorrhoea, dyspareunia, sterility and chronic pelvic pain, among other symptoms. Although it is not malignant, it shares some characteristics with cancer and can lead to epithelial ovarian carcinoma.

Biomarkers such as IL-8, IL-10, and BDNF influence inflammation, nerve sensitization, and pain. This study investigates their relationship with sexual quality of life, focusing on dyspareunia and related dysfunctions, as assessed using the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI).

Objective: Polypoid endometriosis is a rare mass-like variant of endometriosis. Mass-like content with indistinct margins between the uterus and pelvic side wall mimics characteristics of pelvic malignancy. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) has also been associated with higher incidences of endometriosis.

We report a case of a 49-year-old female with a history of HIV infection for 12 years. The patient had excellent compliance with antiretroviral medications, raltegravir 400 mg twice daily and truvada once daily for HIV. Over the years, she maintained an undetectable viral load with a CD4+ count >200 cells/μL.
