In the mid-1990s, dentistry became included in enforcement activity for Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. This year, 80 dental offices were served with 60-day notices for failing to post Prop. 65 warnings. The California Dental Association has been inundated with inquiries on what dental offices should be doing with regard to Prop. 65 requirements. This article provides a brief history of Prop. 65 and answers the questions most frequently asked of CDA.

Background: To examine the relationship of various mandibular skeletal features determined from assessment of a panoramic image to the impaction of mandibular second molars in children with late mixed to early permanent dentition.
Material And Methods: Thirty-six panoramic radiographs were collected from two private orthodontic offices of consecutively screened patients in the late mixed to early permanent dentition. Gonial angle, space ratio, ramus ratio and occlusal plane to posterior ramus ratio were analyzed for any significant relationship with mandibular second molar impaction.

Limited information currently exists concerning donkey husbandry and health in Switzerland. Within the framework of this study, Swiss donkey owners, veterinarians, and official veterinary offices were surveyed online to obtain information on current husbandry and feeding practices, health care, and status of Swiss donkeys and to clarify the need for further education in this area.
